The Polar Express, Kindergarten Style

Today is the last day of the quarter and soon to be Christmas break for 3 whole weeks! Yippee times a million!

In Nathan’s kindergarten class, the kids got on board their imaginary Polar Express train, heading straight for the North Pole! They grabbed their tickets bundled up in their jammies and watched the movie. Afterwards, they listened to the book then all of a sudden we heard bells. It must be because we all believe! Guess who walked through the door? It was Santa himself. The students were thrilled. He talked to each kid, sharing secrets only Santa knows, then the kids ate their cookies and hot cocoa while making a craft.

Kindergarten is so precious.
(Sweet Mrs. Zavisch and Santa himself!)

Thank you to Laura and Kristen for putting together such a special, memorable day! And I'd be foolish to not say thank you to Santa himself! Merry Christmas class.
