On the Sixth Day of Christmas

It’s been years that we’ve wanted to go and finally this year we got our ‘ticket in’, an invitation to the Christmas tea with Santa at T.C. Eggintons restaurant in Mesa. Yippee! The owners of this yummy place like to treat their customers right and to thank them, they run two different ‘tea’ settings all for free.

Jon had to head into work early, but my mom joined the kids and I, making this a fun family first.

We were welcomed in with a quartet of singers dressed beautifully and singing great. Once at our table then kids got to color until we were served cider and a cookie. So cute! One by one, two elves made their way to each table talking personally to us all, telling us about being an elf (which is one of my kids’ favorite subjects this year). Eventually the big man in the red suit came by too with his wife, taking time to take photos with each family.

Poor little Owen was a little hesitant of Santa and didn't want anything to do with a photo with the elves.

We had a very special time today!
