A Hot Treat

Family Fun tonight consisted of a campfire, making Some’mores and banana boats. I was the only one in the family that had ever had one of these yummy banana treats. Is there anyone else that knows about banana boats?

Here are the steps the kids wanted you to know so you can make them too!

Step one: Slice a banana to look like a taco. Don't have it go all the way through. Keep the peel on.

Step two: Add chocolate chips.

Step three: Add mini marshmallows on top of the chocolate chips.

Step four: Wrap them with aluminum foil.

Step five: Throw them in the hot flames!

Step six: Unwrap and enjoy! It’s a hot, gooey, yummy treat!

Times around the campfire are so precious to us. It gives us time to hear our kids' hearts!

I love banana boats. I made them at Girl Scout Camp when I was a girl scout.
I kept quickly checking your blog and only read the top and did not scroll down so I didn't realize you added posts. Can we still vote on the Nacho plates or is it over?
