A Sunday Cruise With Grandma Sally!

Today my mom "delivered" on her promise. Two weeks ago she bought a "new" car and of course the kids have been dying to take a joy ride with her! She pulled up this afternoon to go "cruising" with them. Unfortunately it had to be done in "shifts" since her backseat could only seat 2.

Round one- "The boys"..."Nathan, where do you want to go?" she asked. "Hmmmm, I don't care, maybe somewhere for lunch," he replied (after just finishing a heavy breakfast...go figure).

Round two- It was suppose to be "The Girls"...but Owen just couldn't seem to get out of the car. He was a natural for the wind in his face. So my mom inquired, "Baylee, where should we go?" And with one quick breath she enthusiastically spit out, "How about the new Dillards!" So, we rode around the outdoor mall, watching the crowd of people shop from store to store.

It was a bright, slightly breezy, beautiful day in the low 70s. It was a perfect afternoon for a cruise and the kids think their Grandma Sally is the coolest person around.
