On the First Day of Christmas
On the first day of Christmas the Kempiak Party of Five went on the Polar Express in Williams, AZ. It’s our fourth year in a row to go and just as amazing as the first. Why do we love it so much?
~It’s a great family tradition (we love those)
~It brings us “togetherness”
~We love getting matching jammies
~We love the movie and have fun reenacting it
~Santa!
While on the train on the way to the ‘North Pole’ you read the book, ‘The Polar Express’ and drink hot chocolate and eat cookies.
This year they added songs from the soundtrack which Jon and I were thrilled about. When the train finally arrives at the North Pole you see Santa standing outside with elf Bernard.
He eventually boards the train, going from 'car to car' giving each child a bell (the first gift of Christmas), one by one, just like the story! It’s so very magical.
As we head back to the depot, it's time for some Christmas sing-along’s!
Once we head off the train, there’s time for a photo shoot with Santa as well as delivering him our Christmas wish lists and visiting Mrs. Clause in her room of fun.
Two years ago we went as a big group to the Polar Express and had a total blast. For 2009 we want to get an entire train full and plan to make arrangements in March (once we have our income tax return back). Do I have any families that want me to keep them in the loop of our reservations?

Paige really wanted to do this. She even found tickets on Craigslist, but they were still really expensive. In fact, I will probably get some grief when she finds out you guys went.
So you better let us know when you get tickets for next year. We would love to spend some time on a train with the Kempiak clan!
Keep us in the loop too! Asher will be the perfect age next year for this! Sounds fun.
Keep us posted. We went again this year and the kids loved it! I love your matching jammies!

I didn't know about the letter drop off...we'll have to do that next year!
The Roberts would love to go!
