On the Seventh Day of Christmas

One of our family highlights every Christmas is heading to Phoenix First Assembly of God to witness their Christmas Pageant, Star of Wonder, where you leave uplifted and inspired. It’s unlike any other I’ve seen (except the Crystal Cathedral in Anaheim, California). You’d be amazed with the talent and resources a church can put on! Camels bring in the wisemen, a donkey carries Mary, a heavenly host of angels fly overhead, a live singing Christmas tree full of choir members delight our ears the entire hour and a half show, live elephants make their way on stage, kangaroos bounce around too, and much much more. The costumes are phenomenal, the music glories, and script is excellent. If only my photos gave it justice.

My mom, Dick and Carol (Jon’s folks), and the Talley family joined us in the balcony with the Brotman and Richardson families on the ground floor. I’m delighted so many of our loved ones got to experience it and hope you can too, next year.

I will NEVER grow old of hearing and watching the show, having a face to face encounter of the reason we celebrate this holiday! I have chills just thinking about it.
