Baylee and I received an early, totally amazing birthday present from Nana and Papa D (Jon’s parents). They sent both of us to see Carrie Underwood in concert! Carrie has been Baylee’s all-time favorite singer since she appeared on American Idol. She was a phenomenal performer (just as good as on cd) and I appreciated her modesty in each gorgeous outfit she wore. This concert was great! I still can’t believe what a generous gift we both received. Nana and Papa, you’re the best! Thank you!
(On a side note, Nathan and Owen watched Star Wars with Nana and Papa while Baylee and I were at the concert. They thought that was pretty cool too!)

This was Baylee's favorite outfit, a long flowing teal gown.
During a crescendo of the song, the flowing part of the formal dress flew off backstage in a beat and Carrie bounced off the tall platform walking along the stage now signing in this cute dress.
